CheetahThe fastest animal
Cheetah, belonging to the cat family has a speed that is quite unique in nature but it has weak abilities to climb. It is the only member of the Acinonyx that is alive. It can accelerate from zero to 103 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds, which unbelievable, as it is faster than even the sport cars! The cheetah does not hunt by scent rather by its vision. It has the ability to stalk its prey within 10 and 30 meters. After this it chases the prey and captures it within just less than a single minute. It has 50% success rate in hunting. With a speed of 75 mph, a cheetah experiences a lot of strain in its body. During a sprint, its body develops a very high temperature and this is the sole reason why cheetah rests after hunting.

Other animals’ speed
The lion can run with a speed of 88 kilometers per hour and stands 4th. The rabbit, deer and the fox has a speed of 75 kilometers per hour, with the horse and the zebra having a running speed of 64 kilometers an hour. Apart from these animals, a buffalo and a hare can run with a speed of 55 kilometers an hour, along with a giraffe and a wolf, at 45 kilometers an hour. These are some of the animals who can run the fastest and the best!
